REFRESHED - Free Yourself (1977)

Extremely Rare Jazz, Funk, Soul Fusion.
The heavy guitar riffs  and
heavy Basslines remind me
of the early Funkadelic albums.
Ripped, Cleaned and processed.
As someone suggested...
Have some brandy and Ganja mon !

If I may say, I feel like I should be downing straight whiskeys in a smoke filled underground nightclub listening to this (What kind of smoke is another question mind you)
There is really a feeling of reckless abandon and rawness about this which I find rather appealing. It is so different from today's rubbish, I wish our youth knew what they were missing out on. Thank you for continuing to educate and sharing mate. And with that said, I think I'll go and have that whiskey now!

Incredible post! What a sublime album, you can just imagine the dancers at The Loft going wild to this!

This is what 'disco' music is all about and really if you can't drop tracks like Peace Gone Away or Funk Consciousness into a set, then you are doing something wrong as these tracks are the absolute spirit of disco in my humble opinion.

As I'm sure most of you know already, they also did a killer Go-Go/Boogie album in the early eighties under the shortened 'E.U.' name called 'Future Funk', which has a killer Go-Go track called 'Crankin' At The Go Go' - a very clean rip of said album can be found here:
